Stripe.Plaid.Don't.

There's a rule that supercedes everything! Don't mix your stripes and plaid! Keep stripes to a low-key and don't wear it with plaid. It's a simple rule but some don't abide. Let's keep it together guys and not embrass ourselves!

With stripes you don't want to get a too big print because you'll look like a little kid. Keep them subtle and stylish.

Plaid is pretty scary and most people stay away from it. But if you really like it, there are some really cool plaid and even patterned clothing that you can rock with style. A nice solid color plaid with a solid outfit can look nice on a casual day. Houndstooth is one of my favorites and can compliment any outfit, such as a nice houndstooth coat.
